TV Show: Parenthood. Love it. Laugh, cry, laugh, sigh…it gets it. Lost: The Final Season: Sad to see it go, and glad to get that hour back when it does. Still love it.
The Outlaw Josey Wales: Clint….mmmmm…love those steely blue eyes. Liked it more than Pale Rider.
Outsourced: American in India…some obvious culture clashes, cute, watchable.
The Counterfeiters: WWII Holocaust movie, good acting, thought provoking. True story.
World Championship women’s ice skating snippet 3/31:Yu-Na’s performance was amazing.
Lost: current season: LOVE IT!!!! What stands in the shadow behind the statue?????
Caramel: One of the best chic flicks I’ve seen in a long time. Not fluffy. No sap.
Invasion of the Body Snathchers Original: Campy. Good for non scary fright night.
Charlie Wilson’s War: Good all around, funny, interesting great Sunday night flick.
The Office, Season 4 Disc 1-2: HI-LARIOUS, an almost perfect comedy. I heart JIm!
Gone Baby Gone: Tough subject matter, stellar acting, not a tearjerker, but not uplifting at all. Still, good.
Spaced: BBC sitcom…quirky, second season is better, not for highbrows.
Michael Clyaton: George is great, Tilda too…good all around
Breach: Subdued suspense…true story, good acting.
Ironman: Fun, funny, decent action…love that RDJ…..
Water: Stunning film. I cried at the end. I had no idea this was going on.
Flight of the Conchords: Aussie TV show…quirky, odd, funny at times. Will probably watch some more. Plus, the one guy kind of looks like my dad without the beard. Odd.
Heroes, Season 2: Ummm, Next to Lost, and Deadwood, this is my favorite TV show. It’s so great to watch it without commercials, and to watch 2-3 in a row. “Save the chearleader. Save the world!” Oh, and most of the cast is hot, and can act, which is fabulous.
City of God-couldn’t get all the way through it. Lots of language and violence and not enough engagement of characters to get you through
The Batman-Dark, moody, malevolent-not my favorite, but it’s still Batman.
Sex and the City-The Movie-Saw it with the girls…smiles all around if you know the show.
Lars and the Real Girl-Loved it. Funny, poignant, engaging. Not offensive. Rent it.
Vantage Point-SNOOOOOOZE.
American Gangster-Tough in parts, a bit slow in others, interesting as based on a true story.
The Last King of Scotland-Whew! Oscar worthy for sure. One brutal scene-but fab acting all around.
King of Corn-Better to read the book-Omnivore’s Dilemma-so much better than this mediocre doc.
Murderball-True story of wheelchair rugby-great flick.
Bladerunner (DVD)-Awesome. My all-time favorite movie. So good to see it again. Go Rutger! Go Harrison!
